Emergency Planning

As Harvey is appearing to be leaving South East Texas & the Wildfires still raging in Montana, I cant help but think that this is a good time to create an Emergency Plan for our families. If you've not already done so, please consider making one soon. Our world is changing. Natural disasters are happening at a more rapid rate & becoming the norm.

Do you have an Emergency Plan for your Family in place? Do you have a First Aid Kit that is able to be mobilized? If not, lets get on that. Prepare a Medical First Aid kit.

Prepare an Aromatic and Herbal First Aid Kit. Prepare a List of Phone #'s to call for Emergency assistance in your area. Prepare a list of Names, Addresses and Phone #'s of Relatives. Plan on a location to meet should you and your family be separated. Plan on a location to head towards, should your home become inhabitable.

Prepare a Bug Out Bag in case you have to leave.

Below are some resources I've found that might assist in getting materials and a plan together.

Solace is a hard won emotion in times of disaster. We can help bring a modicum of normalcy if we plan ahead. My hometown is Liverpool, TX. I know these people.

Please, Think about implementing emergency plans to keep your family safe.
